As the world is still baffled with the emergence of the deadly Corona Virus (otherwise known as COVID - 19), it has been declared a pandemic by World Health Organisation (WHO).
It's feasibly travelling at an astronomic pace to countries like bush fires with Europe especially UK and Italy the most affected though it originated from China. Many lives are lost through this deadly virus in Italy, UK, China especially in the state of Wuhan where it all started.
As Africa is not an exception on this deadly virus, Ghana has in less than a month recorded approximately 93 cases, four deaths and no recovery as recorded by Worldometer though not confirmed by Ghana Health Service, as at Thursday 26th March, 2020 at 6:00 hrs.
A lot of efforts has been initiated by the Government to combat the novel Corona virus (COVID- 19).
At this time of the season in Northern Ghana, Cerebrospinal Meningitis is rampant coupled with this deadly Corona virus.

Poole Muzik caught up with a pioneer and the man who is the brain behind rap music in Dagaare (a local dialect spoken by people in Upper West and other parts of Burkina Faso and Cote D'Iviore). EL Twist Dagara is the man, the multiple award winning rapper, performer and song writer from Upper West Region. He spoke at length with us and touch on a variety of issues.
He began by saying the novel Corona virus has really taken the world by storm and thus has brought everything to a standstill. On his part as a celebrity, he will be releasing a sensitization video on it. According to him, he will just give a simple message to educate people on the measures to take to prevent themselves from the deadly virus. Asked whether he will be doing a song on that, He said: ''I might consider composing a song if the situation gets worse'' Asked how the pandemic is affecting music and entertainment, he said: " Well it's quite bad. Businesses are at a standstill because on every media platform it's Corona and nothing else. We can't even attend shows"
When this blogger asked him on the Upper West Creative Art Awards night which voting are still on going, He added: "Well it depends on the magnitude of the situation as of then. People are really scared. It can be possible if the anxiety of people tones down by then" "None is stiff. They are normal nomination categories" stated El Twist about the competition in his nominated categories.
He also gave assurances over his candidature for future Vodafone Ghana Music Award nomination. "We are hopeful. In life you will get it right per the right timing" he said
Though the year 2020 is overridden by the Novel Corona virus (COVID- 19) which has got the whole world talking about it, The Supremacy hit maker has released a worldie track titled Oii which featured Dagau Okito. The track is a massive hit that it is enjoying airplay in all radio stations. "We will definetly surmount to these hard times with good music. All is not lost" He said of his plans moving forward amidst the Corona virus pandemic. "So far so good. The people are crazy about it. And we wish to push further" He said of his new banger. "Per the content, I thought he was the best person to jump on it. On that particular song I don't think anyone else could do better than what Okito did" Said the Oii crooner on his choice of feature.

Of course, people has always been crazy about his tracks especially his choice of lyrics and combining education with humor in a single track isn't just for the small headed people. The best rapper currently in the Upper West Region has won numerous accolades to himself and has performed on the biggest stages in the country including the popular Dagaabas - Frafras Games at El Wak Sports Stadium in Accra. He's a cool headed person who let his music do the action for him. He is nominated in this years maiden edition of Upper West Creative Art Awards (UWeCA) as Musician of the Year, Song writer of the Year (Supremacy) and Music Video of the Year (Supremacy) shot by Cola Media.
